Meet the Author
Candida Stevens is a registered psychotherapist and ICF-accredited coach. Her approach is integrative, drawing on psychotherapy, coaching and nervous system regulation to help people better understand themselves and create meaningful change.
She holds an MSc in Business Psychology and trained as a psychotherapist with the Human Givens Institute. She is also a trained ADHD clinical services provider and assessor, and has completed further training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and CBT for Insomnia. She volunteers with Macmillan Cancer Support and works with the charity PTSD Resolution.
Before training as a psychotherapist, Candida founded an online fashion business, ran a contemporary art gallery and spent a decade working across business and education.
The UNDERSTANDING YOUR MIND series grew from a simple belief: that greater self-understanding leads to greater self-compassion, and that small shifts in awareness can have a profound impact on how we experience our lives.
